Ashley is a transplant from the Midwest, born and raised in Cincinnati Ohio. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University in 2007. She then went on to follow her dream to earn her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at University of South Alabama, in Mobile. After completing her education in Alabama, Ashley took a leap of faith, and relocated to Phoenix, Arizona to get some sunshine and dry heat. She gained experience working in Phoenix for eight years, providing speech and language therapy to both pediatric and adult populations in clinic, home, school and medical-based settings. Ashley moved back to Ohio for three years to be close to family, but is now back in sunny AZ doing what she loves. Teaching children to communicate is her passion as a Speech Language Pathologist. Finding each child’s unique strengths to help them express themselves is her way of helping them grow as individual learners.
Ashley is an ASHA certified and state licensed SLP with 12+ years of professional experience in the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of disorders affecting communication, including the areas of expressive and receptive language, pragmatic language, fluency, articulation and phonology, and motor-based speech disorders. In her spare time, she enjoys hot yoga, hiking, rollerblading, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
