Dmitri Tartsakov

Dimitri Tartsakov, M.A., CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathologist

Dmitri was born and raised in USSR, Kazakhstan, where he acquired his first master’s degree in Linguistics and Foreign Languages. However, Dmitri always had a secondary passion since his childhood – to become a doctor. As early as eleven, Dmitri enjoyed reading medical and research articles during his leisure time. After immigrating to the US, Dmitri wanted to combine his previous linguistics carrier with the medical domain and discovered a Speech-Language Pathology field. In 2018 he graduated from CUNY with his second Master’s Degree in speech-language pathology. In NYC, Dmitri worked in multiple hospitals mainly helping post-stroke patients and patients with traumatic brain injury to rehabilitate their speech, language, cognitive memory, and swallowing functions.

Dmitri has joined Ally Pediatric after his recent relocation from NYC to Phoenix, AZ. In addition to his experience with the adult / geriatric population, Dmitri also has extensively worked with the pediatric population in various settings. He has clinical expertise in speech, language, voice, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders. Dmitri is certified with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in both Arizona and New York.

He speaks five different languages and is also a certified interlinguistic translator & interpreter. During his leisure time, he enjoys rock climbing, trail running, mountain hiking, weightlifting, and watching military documentaries.
