Dr. Kellie Band

Dr. Kellie Band, DBH, BCBA, LBA

Vice President of Clinical Development

Dr. Kellie Band has been working with children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in applied behavior analysis (ABA) since 2006. Having worked in a variety of capacities in the field of behavior analysis, Kellie finds the most reward from collaborating and integrating with other specialists within the behavioral health field.

After earning her Masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in ABA, she went on to pursue her Doctorate degree in Behavioral Health at Arizona State University graduating in 2011. It was through her early experiences in the field that emphasized her passion for interdisciplinary collaboration, and supported the development of her integrated approach that helps children reach their maximum potential.

Kellie’s time as a clinician provided her with the opportunity to work one-on-one with children in-home, schools and clinic based, conduct parent education sessions, complete functional behavior assessments, and create and run social skills groups and, most recently, a social skills dance class. Over the last 11 years, Kellie has been a behavior therapist, supervisor and obtained her Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and her Behavior Analyst license through the Board of Psychologist Examiners. Her unique path has allowed her to work with children with a variety of childhood diagnoses and their families, and to collaborate with many professionals in a variety of disciplines along the way. She has became proficient in Pivotal Response Treatment, Discrete Trial Teaching, and parent education. Kellie enjoys training and presenting at workshops, and has been fortunate to share and disseminate Behavior Analysis throughout California and Arizona via AZ Association for Behavior Analysis (AzABA).

In 2017, Kellie joined Ally Pediatric Therapy as Clinical Director to deliver high quality care and leadership to our clients and staff.
