Jennifer grew up in San Diego, where she began her journey to working with special needs individuals. Her mother was a Special Education teacher and Jennifer enjoyed spending her available time in her mothers classroom as a peer tutor for the students, assisting in chaperoning field trips, and making materials for the classroom.
In 2010 Jennifer began working for the school district as a substitute paraprofessional, and quickly became a permanent team member of a Middle School resource classroom. The teacher she worked for was also a BCBA which sparked her initial interest in studying behavior.
Jennifer graduated from National University in 2012 with her BS in Psychology, and Arizona State University in 2015 with her M.Ed. in curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. She has been a certified BCBA since 2016.
