Kyana first found her passion for helping families working as an intern for a family support specialist during her undergrad studies at Arizona State University. She had originally planned to pursue a master’s in social work but fell in love with the field of Applied Behavior Analysis after taking a year off to work and gain more experience. She has been working with children with intellectual disabilities, and on the Autism Spectrum since 2017. In 2018 she began pursuing a Master of Science in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavior Analysis and graduated from Capella University in March 2020. She has recently become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and is excited to continue her growth in the field and help as many families as possible.
In her free time, she enjoys sitting down to read a good book and spending time with her family, friends, and her fur baby Luna.
