Madeline Richan, M.A., RBT
Senior Clinical Resident
Maddy grew up in Santa Clarita, California with her mother, grandfather, and siblings. She developed a passion for working with the neurodivergent community after family members received Autism diagnosis. She was the first in her family to earn undergraduate and graduate degrees and is passionate about professional development and continued education to better serve clients and their families. Maddy earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a concentration in Social Justice in 2019 from the University of San Diego. After graduation, Maddy moved to Tempe, Arizona where she worked as a social worker teaching independent living skills to neurotypical and neurodivergent foster youth aging out of the foster care system. Maddy sought higher education to better serve these communities and began her Master of Arts in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis) at Arizona State University in 2021, completing the degree in August 2022.
Maddy first began working in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) as a behavior technician providing in-home and community-based direct ABA therapy in 2021. She became a Registered Behavior Technician and joined the Ally Pediatric Therapy team in 2022 as a Lead Registered Behavior Technician.
In July 2023, Maddy stepped into the role of Senior Clinical Resident, where she will further develop her clinical skills, apply her knowledge of ABA in a new capacity to further serve clients and families at Ally.
Outside of work, Maddy enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with her husband and dog!
