Marisa McKay
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Marisa entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in 2019 working in-home providing direct support to children and adolescents. She received her RBT credential in 2021 after transitioning into a clinic setting working in early intervention services. Marisa has experience providing direct support in home, clinic, and community settings targeting communication, social, and adaptive skills, and working with clients and stakeholders to generalize and maintain behavior change. She also has experience identifying and teaching functional replacement behaviors to support autonomy and improve quality of life for her clients.
Marisa graduated with a master’s degree in special education with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in August of 2022 and is completing supervised fieldwork with the aspiration of becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Marisa’s passions include providing behavior analytic training and support to providers and stakeholders and utilizing compassionate care practices with clients.
In her spare time, Marisa enjoys painting, spending time outdoors with friends and family, and cooking.
