Raakel Elzy joined Ally Pediatric Therapy in 2020 as the Clinical Director of the Paradise Valley location. Raakel started her career in 2007 as an ABA therapist working with children with autism in Tucson, AZ. She then taught in a self-contained special education classroom serving children ages two to five with various disabilities including autism, intellectual disabilities, visual impairments, genetic disorders, and severe and profound disabilities. After four years of teaching, Raakel moved to Phoenix, AZ to provide ABA services as a licensed, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Raakel has served in various clinical roles and has overseen ABA treatments in school, home and center-based settings. She also serves as a board member for the Arizona Association for Behavior Analysis (AzABA).
Raakel’s areas of interest include clinical quality and outcomes, organizational leadership and culture, and other topics within organizational behavior management.
Raakel holds a B.A. in Music with a minor in Psychology and an M.A. in Cross Categorical Special Education with a Behavior Support Specialist certificate both from the University of Arizona.
