Salina joined Ally in 2018 as a Behavior Technician. Salina obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Psychology from Humboldt State University, where she was also able to gain valuable experience working with children in the Child Development Lab on campus. In addition to this experience, Salina also worked as a Behavior Skills Therapist for Trumpet Behavioral Health in Arcata, California, where she implemented individualized programs for children and young adults with autism based on ABA principles.
Salina’s favorite part of working in this field, besides getting to spend her day with kiddos, is being able to see the progress children can make over time and how this progress impacts not only their lives, but the lives of their family. “It’s an awesome feeling knowing that you had a positive impact on a kiddo and their family – I love it!”
