The BCBA residency program offers incredible opportunities for those pursuing a master’s degree, providing hands-on experience and a clear pathway for career advancement. At Ally Pediatric Therapy, we are thrilled to spotlight an incredible individual who exemplifies dedication, innovation, and compassion in the field of ABA Therapy. This post celebrates Kylee Pitts, a Senior Clinical Resident, who has achieved remarkable milestones not just in her residency but also within the autism community. Through her accomplishments, she continues to inspire advocates, parents, clinicians, and professionals striving to make a difference.

A Well-Deserved Honor for Kylee Pitts

This year, Kylee Pitts was honored with the Outstanding Capstone Award while progressing through Tier 3 of her residency program. This recognition highlights Kylee’s ability to combine clinical expertise with innovative approaches to autism care.

Kylee’s capstone project, “Implementing Skill-Based Treatment with a Non-Vocal Autistic Child”, was a standout in every sense. Her work, presented through an oral presentation and an accompanying poster, showcases a deep focus on evidence-based therapies tailored to the unique needs of autistic children. Her enthusiasm, dedication, and competence captured the attention of her peers and leaders in the autism care community.

Looking Ahead

The excitement doesn’t stop here! We are thrilled to share that Kylee will be presenting her capstone project via a poster presentation at the upcoming Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) conference on May 26th in Washington, D.C.

The Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) has been the primary membership organization for those interested in the philosophy, science, application, and teaching of behavior analysis since 1974.

The ABAI conference is a globally recognized platform for showcasing the latest developments in applied behavior analysis and autism therapies. Kylee’s inclusion on this esteemed stage speaks volumes about her expertise and the innovative nature of her work.

Through Kylee’s presentation at ABAI, her contributions are set to inform more clinicians and advocates, widening the reach of evidence-based strategies for helping non-vocal children find their voices both literally and figuratively.

Kylee’s achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the unwavering support of mentors and team members around her. She has openly expressed her gratitude toward Deborah Mulder, Amber Feick, and the entire Ally Pediatric Therapy family. Their mentorship and guidance played a pivotal role in her journey, creating an environment where excellence thrives.

This celebration is not just about one individual’s success but also a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of providing the right resources and encouragement to future leaders.

Thank you to every member of Ally Pediatric Therapy for #BeingAllies and empowering Kylee to unlock her full potential.

Why Kylee’s Work Matters to the Community

Innovative projects like Kylee’s address one of the most critical challenges faced by families raising children with autism. Skill-based treatments, especially for non-vocal children, provide hope and pathways for improved communication and life skills. Non-vocal children often face heightened barriers to expressing their needs and feelings, which can lead to frustration for both the child and their family.

Kylee’s work contributes directly to breaking down these barriers, offering families tools and techniques that foster meaningful progress. It stands as an example of what can be achieved when clinical expertise is paired with compassion and determination.

Join the Ally Community

Kylee Pitts’s accomplishments showcase the compassion, expertise, and dedication that exemplify the incredible BCBAs emerging from Ally Pediatric Therapy’s residency program. We invite you to join our community to stay inspired, connected, and informed about the strides being made in autism care.

If you’re a clinician or residential behavioral therapist looking for opportunities to advance your skills in a supportive environment, we encourage you to explore our career opportunities. If you’re pursuing a master’s degree, consider joining us as a Residential Behavioral Therapist (RBT). RBTs enrolled in a master’s program may qualify to apply for our residency program. At Ally, you’ll find a team that values your growth just as much as the impact you create. Check out our Residential Behavioral Therapist openings here: https://allypediatric.com/careers/
