Pilar joined Ally Pediatric Therapy in July of 2019. Pilar began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis when she was studying and researching canine behavior at Illinois State University. After moving to the valley for graduate school, Pilar shifted her focus to children with autism and became a Registered Behavior Technician. In May of 2019, Pilar earned her Masters of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in September of 2019. Additionally, she became a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) through the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners.
Pilar has worked in various areas of applied behavior analysis including clinic, in-home, and school settings. She has a passion for research and implementing the most up-to-date, scientifically-validated methods to help individuals maximize their potential. In her spare time, Pilar enjoys playing the piano, spending time with her dog, and singing karaoke!
