Pilar Bonilla, M.S., BCBA, LBA
Residency Program Supervisor
Pilar joined Ally Pediatric Therapy in July of 2019. Pilar began working in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) when she was studying and researching canine behavior at Illinois State University. After moving to the valley for graduate school, Pilar shifted her focus to children with autism and became a Registered Behavior Technician. In May of 2018, Pilar earned her Masters of Science in ABA from Arizona State University and became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in September of 2018. Additionally, she became a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) through the Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners. Currently, Pilar is working towards her Ph.D. in ABA through The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Pilar has worked in various areas of ABA including clinic, in-home, and school settings. She has experience with Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) and loves helping her clients with social-emotional regulation and coping skills. Pilar has a passion for research and implementing the most up-to-date, scientifically validated methods to help individuals maximize their potential and improve their quality of life.
In her spare time, Pilar enjoys playing the piano, doing yoga, singing karaoke, and spending time with her dog and family!
